Let’s get loose.
If you live for laps, destroy rear tyres and always send it sideways, you’re going to want the Ariel 80.
Fun first and 27.5 for life — our take on a park bike is designed to thrive at every UK centre and even in the Alps.
This bike loves to pop off lips, swing sideways and flick through trees. The bigger the grin on your face, the harder the Ariel 80 works to keep it there.
Our all-new custom-butted and hydroformed 6013 aluminium frame has been put through its paces by bottom-out king Matt Walker and survived to make it into production.
Every millimetre of the 180mm travel is designed to work hard, whether that’s smoothing out rock chatter and braking bumps, sending jump lines, or holding traction through loose turns.
The 80 Pro gets a dialled spec sheet for hard charging out on the trails. A Fox DHX2 Performance shock is matched to the Fox 38 Performance Elite fork, delivering full adjustability for precise setup on any terrain.
The latest Shimano SLX drivetrain provides crisp shifting, with an XT rear derailleur covering the wide 11?51 cassette range. Four-piston Deore brakes bring strong, reliable stopping power to the party.
DT Swiss E532 rims are enduro ready, with a 30mm internal width that gives the Maxxis Minion DHRII tyres the support they need. Both are tubeless ready — just add tape, valves and sealant.
RaceFace 35mm finishing kit and a KS dropper post complete a spec sheet with no weak points — and that’s before you get into the small details.
There’s internal routing for everything — including the dropper post — superboost spacing for extra clearance, and large bearings designed for long service life and easy maintenance.
Just don’t try to stick a 29er fork up front. You’ll set off our inbuilt safety system that alerts everyone on Pinkbike to the crimes you’re committing.
