RIDE YOUR A-LINE.

Designed together with renowned athletes and ambassadors, such as Jono Jones, for the toughest downhill, freeride and enduro rides. The ASTM certified A-Line KinetiCore meets the highest demands of safety with a secure fit, combined with race-ready features. From Rampagne to EWS Demand, A-Line KinetiCore has you covered. .

Features:

  • Carbon shell: A carbon fibre outer shell for high impact performance
  • Increased protection with DualCore technology: Two different density EPS layers form one helmet. The soft low density layer sits close to the head, protecing you against rotational impact. The hard high density layer sits further away from the brain ready to absorb direct impact.
  • Emergency padding: In case of a crash, the cheek pads can be pulled out of the bottom of the helmet without having to remove the helmet first. This creates space to carefully remove the helmet, minimising the need to move the head too much and potentially cause injuries
  • ASTM DH Certified: Officially approved for downhill racing
  • Secured visor: The visor allows clear lines of sight and is secured with bolts for maximum stability. This reinforcement keeps the visor firmly in place even on rough terrain, or when attaching a camera
  • Under visor camera mount: A camera mount is included and can be added under the visor. An under-visor camera is less likely to snag on branches or other obstacles
  • Collarbone protection: Crafted from a softer material than the carbon shell, the specially designed lower trim enhances collarbone protection and will absorb impacts more effectively in the event of a crash
  • Double D ring: Featuring a double D ring to provide a secure fit
  • Secure goggle position: Goggle grip reduces risk of goggle slip and blocking visibility
  • Increased rotational impact protection with KinetiCore: KinetiCore is designed to provide added safety to Lazer helmets. It protects against direct and rotational impact thanks to EPS foam blocks that crumple under impact and absorb the energy that otherwise would have reached the cyclist's brain. The result of avoiding added-on plastics and reducing the quantity of EPS required, is improved performance with a reduced amount of materials.
  • Weight: 790g (size Medium)
  • Sizes: XS 52 - 54cm / S 54 - 56cm / M 56 - 58cm / L 58 - 60cm / XL 60 - 62cm

Impact Protection

Integrated Rotational Impact Protection and Controlled Crumple Zones work together to provide forward-thinking impact-absorption, meaning you can ride with confidence.

Lightweight

KinetiCore saves grams per helmets based on comparable previous models. This is achieved by using less material and lighter plastics in the construction of the helmet combined with the fact that KinetiCore is built in rather added on.

Ventilation

Every cyclist is looking for advanced levels of airflow through their helmet, and KinetiCore achieves this via clever positioning of the protective blocks as well as an overall reduction in the amount of material used in construction.

Reduced Plastic

With KinetiCore, we have used less material versus traditional manufacturing while improving performance – we use up to 24% less plastic than previous comparable models.

Offering improved protection that achieved the ‘Best Available’ and ‘Very Good’ ratings from Virginia Tech, KinetiCore puts safety first. Integrated Rotational Impact Protection and Controlled Crumple Zones work together to provide forward-thinking impact-absorption, meaning you can ride with confidence.

KinetiCore’s Controlled Crumple Zones absorb forces at impact.

Comfort

If a helmet is doing its job, you shouldn’t notice it on your head. KinetiCore is lightweight and comfortable, a result of the smartly positioned blocks and strategic use of less material, meaning airflow within the helmets has been improved so it won’t distract you from the road or trails ahead. Additionally, if you’re commuting in KinetiCore, you won’t turn up to the office too overheated.

Less weight combined with increased ventilation and breathability equals more comfort.

Performance

As KinetiCore is integrated within the helmet, overall weight is reduced, meaning serious riders save precious grams. It also means commuters don’t have to lug a heavy helmet round with them during the day and children can ride safely without a bulky helmet distracting from the fun.

KinetiCore integrated protection weighs less so you can ride faster and for longer.

Reduced Carbon Footprint

Lazer is constantly examining ways it can make its production process more sustainable. With KinetiCore, we have used less material versus traditional manufacturing while improving performance – we use up to 12,82% less plastics* than previous comparable models. *Jackal MIPS 390 g vs Jackal KinetiCore 340 g size Medium

Secure and sustainable: KinetiCore helmets are made with significantly less plastics than previous comparable models.

Lower Weight

KinetiCore saves on average 61 grams per helmet* based on like-for-like previous models – for example, the Jackal with KinetiCore weighs 340g, whereas the previous model weighed 390g (size M). This is achieved by using less material and lighter plastics in the construction of the helmet combined with the fact that KinetiCore is built in rather than added on. *Based on 6 KinetiCore models Built-in KinetiCore results in lighter helmets compared to previous models, making it Better by Design.

Confidence

Riding in advanced KinetiCore protection automatically builds your confidence on the bike. Whether you’re out for a Sunday spin, shredding rocky singletrack, weaving through hazardous, traffic-lined roads or your children are taking their first wobbly pedal strokes, you know that Lazer has your back (and head) thanks to its Integrated Rotational Impact Protection.

KinetiCore provides the protection you need, to have more fun on two wheels.

If you like brands that are always looking forward and innovating, then you’ll love Lazer. A company with over 100 years of history, they’ve been at the forefront of helmet technology since helmets were leather caps worn by people riding steel bikes over cobbles in Belgium.

Lazer believes that bike helmets should be the best blend of safety, technology, design and comfort and looking through their range you can see those values in everything they do.

Having made helmets for some of the world’s best cyclists like Tom Boonen, Paolo Bettini and 2022 Tour de France Green and Yellow jersey winners Wout Van Aert and Jonas Vingegaard, Lazer has not only proved itself at the highest level but gathered thousands of hours of ride testing and feedback from some of the all-time greats to design and improve its products.

In 2022, Lazer introduced one of their biggest innovations ever in Kineticore, their own in-house developed anti-rotational impact technology. Kineticore changed the game in the helmet sector because its part of the helmet, not added in post-production. That meant Kineticore helmets are lighter, better ventilated and use less material (and are therefore more eco-friendly) than anything else on the market.

Lazer also recently introduced the Cage, the first ever downhill certified full-face helmet to receive a 5-star rating from the independent testing lab at Virginia Tech University – considered the industry standard for bicycle helmet safety testing.
