KinetiCore saves on average 61 grams per helmet* based on like-for-like previous models – for example, the Jackal with KinetiCore weighs 340g, whereas the previous model weighed 390g (size M). In 2022, Lazer introduced one of their biggest innovations ever in Kineticore, their own in-house developed anti-rotational impact technology. Kineticore changed the game in the helmet sector because its part of the helmet, not added in post-production. That meant Kineticore helmets are lighter, better ventilated and use less material (and are therefore more eco-friendly) than anything else on the market.
Lazer also recently introduced the Cage, the first ever downhill certified full-face helmet to receive a 5-star rating from the independent testing lab at Virginia Tech University – considered the industry standard for bicycle helmet safety testing.
