Powered by Shimano’s latest EP8 motor, you’ll reach the top in no time and blast back down. Whether it’s bike park laps or a point-to-point epic, the Ariel E is ready to take you there with a massive grin on your face.
Housed inside a lightweight magnesium body, EP8 delivers 85Nm of torque. But power is nothing without control, and Shimano provides a huge range of user customisation so you can get the best ride out on the trail.
Whether it’s adjusting assistance on the fly using the handlebar-mounted controls, or fine-tuning power and torque balance via the E-Tube app, Shimano’s EP8 system is fully integrated to help you find the perfect setup every time.
Once dialled in, you’ll notice a quieter ride experience, with the integrated 720Wh Darfon battery delivering extended range for big days in the mountains.
Our all-new aluminium frameset delivers 150mm of rear travel and is paired with a Fox Factory DHX coil shock for maximum traction and control over the roughest terrain.
Up front, the Fox 38 E Factory fork delivers 160mm of Kashima-coated travel. This e-bike specific version features a refined compression tune optimised for e-MTB performance.
Of course, you still get everything the Fox 38 is known for — exceptional stiffness, extensive low- and high-speed compression and rebound adjustment, plus bleed valves for consistent performance on long descents.
We’ve completed the top-of-the-line Ariel 50E Elite with Shimano XT 12-speed drivetrain and powerful four-piston brakes, delivering benchmark all-round trail performance.
DT Swiss HX531 rims are another e-bike specific component, with a 30mm internal width perfectly supporting Maxxis Minion DHRII tyres.
Small and medium bikes feature a mixed wheel setup, while large and extra-large sizes run full 29er wheels.
RaceFace components finish the build, paired with a KS Lev Integra 150mm dropper post.
