Genesis CDA Junior
  • Big adventures start small. The Genesis CDA Junior brings the same go-anywhere spirit as the adult CDA range to younger riders, creating the perfect first step into multi-surface cycling. Light, tough and confidence-inspiring, it's designed to help kids ride further, explore more and have fun doing it.
  • The CDA Junior features a lightweight aluminium frame and child-specific geometry for secure handling and comfort. Wide tyres and reliable disc brakes give young riders control and confidence on a mix of surfaces ‐ from smooth tarmac to park paths and family trails.
  • Built to handle everyday use, it's equally happy on weekend rides or the daily trip to school. Low-maintenance components mean more riding and less wrenching, while the CDA's signature look gives young cyclists a bike they can be proud of.
  • For families who love to ride together, the CDA Junior keeps everyone rolling in the same spirit of exploration ‐ small wheels, big smiles, and plenty of adventure ahead.

If you had to sum up Genesis in one phrase, it might be that they try to build bikes without boundaries. When you buy a bike you should be able to take it wherever you want to go; if you’re out and want to take that gravel path, why not? If you see somewhere you want to go, you shouldn’t have to come back tomorrow with a different bike. That bike might come in a box but that doesn’t mean your riding has to be confined to one.

Adventure is meant to be spontaneous and the limiting factor should be your imagination, not what you’re riding.

Genesis is also the creator of a true cycling icon: the Croix de Fer. It’s the original adventure bike that’s taken ambitious riders literally all over the globe. Vin Cox rode 18,000 miles in 163 days on his to circumnavigate the globe and since then countless Genesis models have carried riders on the adventures from their wildest dreams; from Alaska to Patagonia, up 39 of Europe’s highest peaks, an adventure from Tehran to Kyrgyzstan and, yes, one British National Road Racing title thrown in to boot.

Since the Day One was released back in 2001, Genesis has come a long way. These days the range still heavily features the venerable Croix de Fer, but we’ve added an even more out-there bike in the Fugio, a monster with room for MTB tyres if you want to really push the limits and re-ignite the spirit of 1990s MTB riding with a drop-bar bike. Genesis also has a whole variety of utility bikes from the single-speed Flyer to the backswept Broadway via the rack-equipped Brixton and two E-Bikes in the Smithfield and Columbia Road. And let’s not forget the Tour de Fer, which is the spirit of a classic touring bike dressed in up-to-date components and the Longitude, a 27.5+ rigid MTB for those days when your imagination outweighs your common sense.
