ABOUT
Eco without compromise - BOOSTED? BioClean utilizes proprietary water-based technology to clean as effectively as traditional solvent degreasers. BioClean meets the highest standards of ECO compliance and is readily biodegradable, meaning over 60% will biodegrade within 28 days when in contact with the earth. It contains 0% solvents, dyes, toxins, VOCs, harsh odors or flammable ingredients. BioClean is strong enough to break down stubborn grease and grime, yet safe enough for use on paintwork and other delicate bike components. This innovative, fast-acting formula is ready-to-use and can be sprayed straight from the bottle onto contaminated areas. Water rinsing is optional and for most applications the surface can be wiped clean with a cloth. For hardened or stubborn soils agitation may be required and BioClean is also ideal for use with specialty brushes or in ultrasonic cleaners or parts washers. BioClean is a concentrated solution that can be used full-strength for heavy-duty cleaning such as the drivetrain, or diluted with up to 10 parts water for light-duty cleaning such as the frame or saddle.

Lubricants have been around for a very long time, but what Henry Krause figured out back in 1988 when he founded Finish Line is that if you want a lubricant that enhances the performance of a bicycle you need to make one specifically to cater to those demands. Standard household lubricants just won’t cut it.
Finish Line’s first product was a game changer: the cycling industry’s first dry-style lube, named Finish Line Dry Lube with Teflon fluoropolymer. It changed the way bicycle chains were lubricated because it didn’t attract contaminants like traditional wet-style lubes, so shifting worked better and the effects lasted longer. This innovation also coincided with the burgeoning popularity of MTBs, which were crying out for a lubricant that wouldn’t attract dirt and grime on the trails. Perfect product, perfect timing.
Initially Finish Line focused on small batch production, product development and quality control but eventually building the brand identity and expanding the Bicycle Care category became a priority. In 1990, Finish Line began exporting to Germany and the UK and now, in 2023, it is recognised as a world-leading manufacturer of speciality bicycle lubricants and maintenance products, with a leading market position in over 50 countries.
